LayOut application to communicate simple to complex concepts and ideas.
Google LayOut 3 provides simple and streamlined tools to place, arrange, title, annotate and dimension SketchUp models. Even apply photographs to portray the design in context. Together with using other provided or user defined drawing - CAD elements, you will pull together presentations and documentation graphics for printing and form the basis for client presentations in a new 3D virtual sense.
LayOut 3 has features common with page LayOut and graphic design/ CAD applications and slideshow presentation applications with a more streamlined and intuitive feel.You will find that LayOut 3 is just like InDesign, conventional CAD and PowerPoint.
LayOut 3, in combination with Google SketchUp Pro 8, offers 3D designers the only page LayOut solution for designers that combines high-quality 2D graphic design tools with the ability to place, View and manipulate dimensionally accurate 3D models using Stylised or CAD-like drawings, precision and scale. We will show you how to export out your LayOut 3 docs to PDF, Dwg/ DXF or as image based formats.
This course will cover the requirements of utilising your SketchUp models concisely to link and present professional page LayOuts and PowerPoint presentations with ease.
Students will learn how to use LayOut 3's drawing tools and work with photographs, styles, general annotations, dimension, templates and much
more so that your 3D models are totally packaged in LayOut 3 as your favourite final 3D design and documentation toolset.
To be successful in this course, you should have current knowledge of:
• The Essentials 1&2 SketchUp Certified Training or any other ATC Course.
• Have Frequent or regular use of Google SketchUp or Pro version.
• Have been introduced to LayOut 3 but require full training.
You will need a basic 3-button scroll wheel mouse to use SketchUp efficiently.
